                          Development Language
C2 is developed in C++.

The system is developed using object oriented programming techniques.

                          Indexing Structures
Data is retrieved using C2’s specially developed Superdex system, a unique multi-level full-text indexing system. The Superdex stores indexing information and dynamic database metrics that are used by the relevance ranking system.
                          File Size & Record Numbers
The maximum size for any single database file is 4Gb. The maximum number of records stored in a database file is four billion.

Typically, a 4Gb database file will store approximately 4 million MARC catalogue records. There is no limit to the number of databases that can be set up in a C2 system.
